For the amount of detail and useful information I would rate this app fairly high. Better than many $ apps on astronomy.

Packs an amazing amount of sky data into a straight forward interface - two millennia of development never fails to deliver

If you want to see how the sky above us works, where things are, and when eclipses will happen, this app shows you. Faithfully reproducing the ancient Astrolabe it shows you the heavens in a way that makes everything make sense. Get this and enjoy the sky with a new understanding! I have had several versions of this wonderful program and this newest version gives you many excellent features. This is one well thought out and executed app!

still using my iPhone 3G which renders most astronomy programs so slow. But this app works great. How generous is this developer to make this a free app without ads! I am very grateful to him. This is a must app. Very beautiful on my iPad2 as well.

Shortly after getting this app, I requsted the addition of the three twilight lines. Not only did Michael very quickly come out with an update which includes the lines, but he also did one better by showing the "twilight zones" in three shades of gray! Thanks Michael!!!

This is a great app that I use daily to determine sunrise, sunset, and the show in the night sky.

Simple well-designed, functional interface, accurate, fast, good Settings options, easy to understand & use, well-written documentation. Works very well on iPhone 4s. Get it!

Nicely done! Id love it if you could put BC dates in it.

The date and time settings dont stay current. They always revert back to December 31, 1969 at 18:00.

Nice app but date reset when one enters settings is a bad bug. Must terminate app to get time to go current. Cant set to any other date or time.

....and its free!!! All that it does it does well. One small recommendation would make a great app even better. Add the rise and set times for any object selected; in particular the sun, moon and planets. Great job.

This app gives you a view of the sky as it looks at anytime and date. The sun, moon and plants are all shown. You can see what the locations of the planets or the moon will be on any given night in the future as well. Great teaching tool.
